Summary: It was below expectation than what been described . Poor breakfast and location was not easy reach with hotel charged for each trip to funnicular station. Room was not we had booked and only had partial lake view.

Summary: Beautiful view. Very friendly staff. The restaurant was pretty good. The hotel is very off the beaten path. It is Not close to town, or anything really. When you arrive in Como- FIND THE FUNICULAR TO GET YOU HALFWAY UP the Mountain, then pay a small amount to take a very winding and scary ride in a van the rest of the way. I think it was on the expensive side for how remote it is.

Summary: We loved our stay at hotel Paradiso! Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend! The staff were so friendly and truly went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The lake view from the room is amazing, and the sauna/jacuzzi/pool is so beautiful. Very comfortable bed and nice sized rooms. Dinner at the hotel restaurant (mama Gina) was delicious and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in the area. The one thing I will say is the location is not very convenient (expected since it's on the top of a steep hill) - however the hotel was very helpful with this. They picked us up from the top of the funicular when we checked in, provided bus tickets (2.50 euros per person) to get down to Como in the daytime, and booked a taxi/transportation for us to get to the train station when we had to check out early. They were very responsive on WhatsApp and helpful with anything we needed! We love hotel Paradiso! :)
